Service Description

Are you taking responsibility for other peoples moods, wellbeing, needs and the fulfilment of their expectations? Are you seeking to regulate other people so that you can feel regulated yourself? Do you believe that everything is on you, and seek to control yourself, others and situations to ensure everything is ok? These are just some of the ways feeling over-responsible for other peoples wellbeing and lives can show up, and leave us depleted, overwhelmed and unable to attune to our own needs and wants. It can feel like other people won’t be ok without us taking responsibility for them in some way, or we ourselves will not be ok if we do not figure everything out, make people treat us right, do things right and control ourself to ensure a positive outcome. These are all patterns learnt early in life, usually in response to adults who had a strong influence over us who were unable to take responsibility for their own wellbeing, emotional state, behaviour and regulation. When others have looked to us for regulation or blamed their dysregulation on us, negative false beliefs may have been created eg. "I'm responsible for how they feel", "I'm wrong", "I'm unloveable" etc. There is some powerful, innate truth that we can now bring to our inner parts now to retrain the false beliefs about ourself and others. In this taster session we will discuss these truths, and how to safely bring a new perspective, a new way of feeling and a new way of being to the parts still burdened by the behaviour and opinions of others. This is the beginning of freeing ourselves from being controlled by how other people feel and act. Join us for a powerful session on releasing over-responsibility, the need to control and safety seeking in ways that do not serve our health or happiness. The session will include: * coaching advice on retraining the feeling of being responsible for others comfort and wellbeing * coaching on the need to control things/ people/ self to feel safe and secure * guided exercises, personalising your own retraining approach * question and answers with your Gupta Program coach Jen Evans ** all sign ups will gain priority booking on the upcoming small coaching groups starting in October 2025, which are usually over-subscribed * If you can not attend the session, you will be sent the recording.
